主干道纵横世昌大道，东西横贯中心城区，连接威海“西大门”和“幸福门”，市区东西交通的“大动脉”玻璃体结构建筑，高45米，宽42米，建筑面积1295平米。门内两侧分设有两部电梯，距地面约30米高，被誉为“威海之门”，代表着威海现代的城市形象。
