During the two sessions of Shaanxi Provincial People's Congress held recently, the 2023 work report of Shaanxi government showed that Xi'an has been approved to build a comprehensive science center and a scientific and technological innovation center.
At present, the approved projects in all regions have taken the corresponding science city as the carrier for the construction of comprehensive national science center and national science and technology innovation center. As an important node of the Xi'an Science and Technology Innovation Belt, and based on Qinchuangyuan Platform for the transformation of high-energy scientific and technological achievements, the SCIENCE CITY OF THE SILK ROAD has the advantages of scientific research + industry overlapping and has become the first and only "double-center" core supporting zone in China.
With the implementation of “double centers”, the SCIENCE CITY OF THE SILK ROAD, as the "the Belt and Road" international science exchange center, not only opens to Xi’an and the whole country, but also opens to the whole world. In the future, the SCIENCE CITY OF THE SILK ROAD will focus on the "comprehensive national science center" to build a scientific research platform, focus on the "scientific and technological innovation center" to achieve the transformation of achievements, shoulder the mission of scientific and technological innovation on the Silk Road, build a cluster of hard science and technology industries, greatly release the vitality of hard science and technology innovation, enhance the strength of hard science and technology industries, further strengthen the support for the national science and technology strategy, and expand the global influence of scientific and technological innovation.
